ROGER CASTONGUAY
Owner, Overseer, Captain of the Helm
Photographer/Videographer - Roger has been photographing professionally starting with his time at The University of Hartford were he studied Photography and Art History. Videographer has become part of his everyday shortly after. Roger has exceptional entrepreneurial leadership and hands on skills and has built Defining Studios up over 17 years to be a successful and trusted brand throughout Connecticut.
GARRETT UHDE
COO, Lead Photographer & Cinematographer
Garrett has been professionally working in the industry for over 15 years. Studied at Maryland Institute College of Art, earning his bachelors in Film & Video Productions and minoring in Photography. Working closely with professionals like Allen Moore (Ken Burns cinematographer), Garrett has created exceptional skills in producing artful work in all situations and is highly regarded by all of Defining Studios clients.
JOSH IVAIN
Cinematographer & Lead Editor
Josh is a self-taught professional videographer and video editor whose passion for storytelling drives every project he takes on. With a natural ability to craft captivating visuals, Josh brings creativity, adaptability, and technical precision to his work. His diverse background across multiple industries allows him to approach projects with a unique perspective, enabling him to thrive in a wide range of environments and scenarios. At Defining Studios, Josh has become an integral part of the team, consistently producing distinctive video content that elevates each client’s message and vision.
ADONIS GIANTOMIDIS
Videographer & Photographer Extraordinaire
Adonis is a versatile videographer and photographer with over six years of professional experience. Proactive and detail-oriented, he brings a strong background in the e-commerce and automotive industries, where he honed his technical expertise and creative eye. Since joining Defining Studios, Adonis has expanded his craft to become a proficient portrait, event, and commercial photographer, while further developing his skills in visual storytelling through videography and video editing.
BIANCA DESIMONE
Photographer, Photo Editor & Project Manager
Bianca is a photographer with a thoughtful approach to image-making. Highly organized and detail-driven, Bianca plays an active role in project management, client communication, and photo editing, bringing structure and clarity to every stage of the process. She ensures seamless coordination from pre-production through final delivery. As part of Defining Studios, Bianca contributes across portrait, event, and commercial photography, creating imagery that is both visually striking and purposefully executed.
